Soho House came to us with a problem. Their email-based communication system, which they relied on for weekly reports, was causing company-wide confusion and making departmental communication complicated. By consulting with them and understanding their needs, we developed a product to facilitate their day-to-day internal reporting and improve overall efficiency.
The dynamic report template that we created simplified House-wide communication, which relied on endless emails, condensing these down to one email per individual. Our template allowed for the reporting system to be centralised, accelerated and personalised for each department and employee.
Imagine the report tool as an old fashioned printing plate. We created a fixed plate to be sent out every week, for each house. Initially a blank report, the plate is split into different parts and sent out to specific individuals. Each person fills out their section separately and these are then collated and forwarded to the manager in charge. Reminders are sent out globally every week and are generated to be time-zone specific. Ultimately, the reporting process was made much more straightforward and focused.
Applying Agile methodology, we trialled a prototype in one of the Soho House locations, allowing us to collect iterative feedback. Efficiency was improved and client observations helped us mold the tool to fit their needs perfectly.
After our product was implemented, we made sure to offer round-the-clock support and helped with the global roll out, managing any initial glitches and queries.
50 Soho House establishments world-wide now use our communication tool to streamline their communication process efficiently and effectively. By challenging the status quo, we created bespoke software solution that allows the staff to focus on their jobs and made their lives easier.
